standard tuning capo on 4 or standard d tuning capo on 6
This is a tough song to learn with a lot of wierd chords. I thought I would never get it right, but it’s really not as hard as I thought it would be. I am pretty certain about most of this (although some of the chord names are probably wrong) This was transcribed by watching Elliott play this on the 2003 Austin Steamboat concert video. The intro shows chords as well as the melody. When a solid chord is shown that just means to pick it out. Listen to the recording to hear how he picks it (it’s very simple.) When a melody line is shown there is usually a chord name up above. This is the shape he holds while playing the melody (if the note isn’t in the chord shape then he uses his pinky to reach it.) Although I haven’t tabbed it out in the chorus, he plays the same melody in the second half of the chorus as he does in the second half of the intro… they are virtually identical (except he strums more than picks in the chorus.)
